Amateur pic file

Description:The most common file type is jpg. If you took a picture of a black square on a pure white bacground then the jpg can be very small with compression as the file just needs to know so many whites followed by so many blacks. When printing you have to put the pixel information on the paper so it is the unpacked image that is important and not the file size. The further you are away from a print to view it the further apart the dots can be. If you want a very big print then clearly the number of pixels or original dots you have is important.
