Expressing pug anal glands

Description:Sometimes dogs drag their bums to express them, sometimes it doesn't work and they need alittle help. However, I am not a vet and I do not guarantee that this will work for all dogs. An anal gland abscess is the result of an unaddressed anal gland infection. But we run into problems when the anal glands fail to empty. Look at the label, see what the first ingredient is. Other conditions involving the anal glands include impaction; bacterial infection that leads to abscess and ultimately, rupture; and tumors.
