Description:There was a confidence in the band and a boldness to just go for it. And the beauty of that song is that it works on whatever level you take it on. I left the gig newly in love with Barenaked Ladies and my wife was thoroughly converted to their merits. I put the record on and it doesn't sound like anything we've ever done before, and yet it is unmistakably the new Barenaked Ladies record. It's tradition that they do a venue-specific rap and this edition was less fun than some of their from previous gigs, but still amusing. The reasons for going to a Barenaked Ladies gig are the fantastic musicianship and excellent engagement with the audience and each other, and this gig was no exception - the songs were very tight and there were plenty of jokes.
